She's here!!!

Well, folks. Thank you for all your prayers. Lola Alvina Grace Crousse arrived safely (and quickly) on Sunday, August 5 at 3:50 AM. She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. We nicknamed her "Kamakaze" because we got to the hospital at 2:00 AM and she arrived an hour and 50 minutes later! I didn't have time for any drugs!!! It took less than 20 minutes of pushing. I don't think she realized that when I asked her to hurry up and come out, I meant days early, not like a speeding bullet. I will post more pictures later.

You get many kudos for your speedy delivery...but quick and drug-free is definitely the way to go...you recover much more quickly. How are you feeling?? Hope you are recovering well.

Now the trick will be to see if she ever lets you sleep again...:)
